Summary
Abstract: Solidago altissima L. growing in the Kakuma campus of Kanazawa
University was examined in order to identify what kinds of elements
were concentrated in the structure. Microstructure of four parts, such
as pollen, leaf, stem, and root, were observed with optical microscope
and scanning electron microscope. Minerals and elements contained in
the structure were analyzed. The result suggests that numerous needle
shape crystals of whewellite are formed by biomineralization of
Solidago altissima L.
