Summary
Abstract: Horizontal wind data from the EOLE balloon experiment is archived at the
National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). The one-year EOLE experiment
featured 480 constant level balloons released in the Southern Hemisphere from 3
launching sites in Argentina; Mendoza (33 S, 69 W), Neuquen (39 S, 68 W), and
