Summary
Abstract: Ten days mean VIRR Total Precipitable Water:

VIRR Total Precipitable Water is retrieved by the physically split window method with the multi-channel datasets based on the fact that the water vapor will produce the different transmittance between channels in the infrared window region. It is a global product generated from the VIRR L2 granule TPW.

Purpose: VIRR Total Precipitable Water:

Used as the input parameter of weather prediction model and climatic model, also as the important input parameter of atmospheric correction for land surface remote sensing.
