Summary
Abstract: The Cooperative Program for Operational Meteorology, Education and Training (COMET) was established in 1989 by NOAA and UCAR as a broad effort to affect meteorology education and training in the United States. Recently, COMET has been involved in efforts to enhance meteorological education in Universities and Meteorological Services throughout the world.
