Entry ID:
K121_1985_1986_NZ_1
Summary
Abstract:
The movements of adelie penguins at sea during their first foraging trip following egg laying was monitored by attaching radio transmitters to both males (7) and females (3). The location of the birds was determined daily using triangulation from two tracking towers that were established on New College Hill and Inclusion Hill. Tracking was also conducted from a helicopter.
