Middle East Crustal Profiles
Entry ID:
GEO_CORNEL_ME_PROFS
Summary
Abstract:
A number of interpretations of seismic refraction and gravity lines from many
of the countries of the region have been published. We collected and digitized these cross sections and their locations. Depths to interfaces like moho or basement are now known and registered along the profile locations. These can be viewed and compared with other geological and geophysical data sets. The information can also be used to generate grids representing, for example, depth to the moho. Geographic Coverage
