Oligochaetes Collected in the Madison River (Montana) Drainage
Entry ID:
MSU_18
Summary
Abstract:
Aquatic invertebrates were collected from the sediment of side channels of the Madison River (Montana) during three separate collection periods in 1999 and 2000. All specimens in each sample were identified to family, and the Tubificidae were identified to species when possible. These raw data show the number of worms identified for each family in each of the samples.
Purpose: These data were collected as part of a larger study that examined the relationships among characteristics of the environment, Tubifex tubifex populations, and rainbow trout whirling disease risk in the Madison River (Montana). (Source:MSU)
