Abstract:
Two datasets in the EOS-WEBSTER US County Data Collection provide county-level data for crop acreage, production and yield statistics. Crop data for 22 different field crops were acquired from the National Agricultural Statistical Service (NASS) for 1972 through 1998. One dataset provides data for individual varieties/types of each crop while the second dataset provides summary data by crop only. ...
