University of Wisconsin CIMSS Real-Time and Archived Tropical Cyclone Data (1999 Tropical Cyclone Season)Entry ID: CIMSS_TROPICAL_CYCLONES_1999
Abstract: The Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Services
(CIMSS) at the University of Wisconsin offers real-time and archived
tropical cyclone products from it home page.
The real-time products cover the North Atlantic, Western N. Pacific,
Eastern N. Pacific, Australia, North Indian Ocean, and Global
coverage. The real-time data are GOES-8, GOES-10, Meteosat 7,
Meteosat-5, and GMS-5 derived winds and satellite imagery.
The archived products cover hurricanes and tropical storms that
occured during the 1999 tropical cyclone season. For each tropical
storm and hurricane there are satellite derived winds, single frame
satellite images, and movies.
