Broadband Experiment Across the Alaska Range
Entry ID:
PASSCAL_BEAAR
Summary
Abstract:
This is a RESTRICTED data set.
This 2.5 year passive broadband experiment seeks to understand what holds up Mt McKinley and the Alaska Range. We will deploy instruments over much of the road system in central Alaska between Anchorage and Fairbanks. In late May 1999, we begin deploying 7 stations at 50 km spacing for 2.5 years. An additional 29 instruments will fill in the line during spring and summer of 2000, at nominal 10 km spacing; 10 of these will be redeployed for summer 2001. All will record both teleseismic and local events. Geographic Coverage
