Abstract:
The vegetation mortality maps from the Mountain Area Safety Taskforce (MAST)
show distribution of dead trees. The primary cause of the tree deaths has been stress caused by drought followed by infestation of bark beetles. The map products included below are "snapshots" of conditions that have occurred over the recent past, and each is dated to indicate the specific time the conditions were recorded.
