Summary

Abstract: This shapefile shows current global forest cover as published
in "The Last Frontier Forests: Ecosystems and Economies on
the Edge." Current forest cover is estimated closed forest cover
within the last 10 years or so (this date varies by country). Only
closed moist forest is depicted for tropical Africa and
Asia. Woodlands and shrublands are not included in this category.
