Summary
Abstract: Based on the 1B-21 radar received power, time and spatial average of ground surface scattering coefficient (Scattering Radar Cross Section of the surface) are calculated. If it's raining, Path Integrated Attenuation (PIA) is calculated based on the surface reference data of no rain area. This PIA is used to calculate rainfall profile in 2A-25 as reference data using Surface Reference Technique (SRT).
