EUMETSAT - Clear Sky Radiances (CSR)
Entry ID:
EUMETSAT_CSR
Summary
Abstract:
The Clear Sky Radiances product contains information on mean WV and IR channel
brightness temperatures and radiances from regions containing no or only low-level clouds. The CSR is using the high resolution (80km) processing mask, and also contains cloud coverage information, statistical and confidence information. The normal CSR product is generated hourly, the Rapid Scan CSR half-hourly using the middle of the three images only, i.e. imagery 0010-0020, 0040-0050 a.s.o. Radiance products from Meteosat and other satellite data providers are monititored by ECMWF and updated on a daily basis.
