Abstract: ABSTRACT: NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) is building high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) for select U.S. coastal regions. These integrated bathymetric-topographic DEMs are used to support tsunami forecasting and warning efforts at the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research, Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL). Purpose: PURPOSE: Developed for the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL), NOAA Center for Tsunami Research program in support of NOAA's tsunami forecasting and warning efforts.

-Supported on MacIntosh OSX.

-Power Mac G4 or G5, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro. 1 GB RAM, 4 GB recommended. Macintosh OSX 10.4 or later.

-For compiling source code: XCode 2.5 (or later) Development tools.

-Optional: GeomView (available through MacPorts) www.macports.org This requires the X11 package for Mac which is part of OSX 10.5, but is an optional install for OSX 10.4.

Use Constraints The software may be used freely. Derived publications must cite Pplates' authors.
