ABSTRACT: NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) is building high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) for select U.S. coastal regions. These integrated bathymetric-topographic DEMs are used to support tsunami forecasting and warning efforts at the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research, Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL). Requirements: -Supported on MacIntosh OSX. -Power Mac G4 or G5, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro. 1 GB RAM, 4 GB recommended. Macintosh OSX 10.4 or later. -For compiling source code: XCode 2.5 (or later) Development tools. -Optional: GeomView (available through MacPorts) www.macports.org This requires the X11 package for Mac which is part of OSX 10.5, but is an optional install for OSX 10.4.
