Abstract: Metadata record for data from ASAC Project 2297: Iron content of Southern Ocean phytoplankton: implications for carbon transfer to the deep sea.

Data on size-fractionated distribution of suspended trace elements (including iron) in marine particles taken from the surface Southern Ocean south of Australia. Data for 4 size-fractions at 4 stations along ~142 degrees E are included.
