Summary
Abstract: The World Potato Atlas was started in the 1980's by Robert E. Rhoades at the
International Potato Center (CIP) and provides information on ecological and
economical aspects (history, production zones, systems and contraints, seed,
varieties, consumption, and maps) of potato production in developing countries.
The atlas provides this information online for Africa, Asia, North and South
America based on the GPOT97, a geo-referenced database of global potato
production (95-97).
