Abstract: "Sheep and Goats--Final Estimates, 1989-93" is a full-text
bulletin presents sheep and goat final inventory estimates for
the period beginning 1989; wool and mohair production and lamb
crop for the period beginning 1988. Includes annual estimates
for sheep and goat inventory, sheep and lambs on feed, lamb
crop, wool and mohair production and number of operations ... with
sheep, value of inventory, wool and mohair price per pound and
total value. Estimates contained in this publication provide a
historic record and a benchmark for current estimates.

several times each year and estimates are adopted based on
survey data and any other available administrative data that
would support estimate levels.
