Summary

Abstract: To provide statistics on livestock production in the former Soviet
Union.

This dataset includes monthly data on farmers' non-state regulated
market (procurement,wholesale, and retail) prices for beef, pork,
milk, eggs, and butter. Farmers market prices are prices charged at
farmers markets and other free markets in various regional
centers. Prices are expressed in rubles and US dollar equivalents.
