Entry ID:
WYGISC_CALVING
Summary
Abstract:
Data was digitized by personnel at the Wyoming Geographic Information Science
Center for an open space report complied by the Institute for Environment and Natural Resources, in fall 2000. It was digitized for the purpose of overlaying elk calving with land ownership in the Jackson Hole area for display in small-scale maps, NOT for analysis purposes. Data for elk calving areas were digitized from 1:24,000 paper topographic maps provided by the National Elk Refuge, US Fish and Wildlife Service (contact: Bruce Smith, 307-733-9212). Data is not distributed without permission from the National Elk Refuge. Geographic Coverage
