Jornada Experimental Range Creosote Bush Manipulation PlotsEntry ID: MSU0014
Abstract: The Jornada Experimental Range Creosote Bush Manipulation Plots
data are used to determine the effects of shrub clearing,
furrowing, seeding, and livestock plus rabbit exclusions upon
creosote bush dominated areas.
Sixteen 70x70 foot plots were laid out in the creosote bush
dominated area. Shrub clearing, furrowing, seeding, and rabbit
exclusion treatments were applied singly and in combination ... with
one another. Vegetation responses were measured.
Collection Organization: Jornada Experimental Range
Collection Methodology: 16 70x70 ft plots were laid out in
the creosote bush dominated areas and shrub clearing, furrowing,
seeding, and rabbit exclusion treatments applied singly and in
combination. Vegetation responses measured by line intercept
Collection Frequency: Infrequent intervals
