Overstory Tree Measurements
All trees larger that 10 centimeters DBH were measured in December of 2003 on a 0.2-acre circular plot located in the center of each burn plot. Trees were tagged with numbered tags. Measurements include DBH to the nearest 0.1 centimenter of every tree and total height to the nearest 0.1 meter of every fifth tree. These plots will be remeasured periodically.
