Summary
|
Abstract:
To determine silviculture response to various even- and uneven-aged cutting treatments in northern hardwood forests. Also, to measure economic consequences of these treatments. Data include individual tree records for several thousand trees, including growth and yield and tree quality response to cutting methods on three 40 acre plots at the Argonne Experimental Forest, Nicolet National Forest, Wisconsin. Collection Organization: USDA/FS - North Central Forest Experiment Station Collection Methodology: Data collected by the Forest Service. Collection Frequency: Tree growth is collected every 5 years; treatment yield data is collected every 10 years; quality data is collected every 10 - 15 years. Regeneration data is collected as needed. Update Characteristics: N/A STATISTICAL INFORMATION: Estimated to be 1.5 megabytes when complete.
