Summary
Abstract:
The "Timber Management System (TM)" database provides national
and regional forest data, which can be searched to produce customized reports on the state of U.S. forests in general or for specific regions. The national database contains records identified by land use classifications and a file of volume yield records for all national forests. It also provides time harvest volume records for the current fiscal year and two previous years. Regional data include timber inventory adjustment records and a file of timber activity programs. Searches and reports are done by the Forest Service, and in some cases fees may be assessed. Geographic Coverage
