Entry ID:
ISRIC_SOVEUR_primary_ver1
Summary
Abstract:
The Soil and Terrain Database(SOTER)was part of the Soil Degradation and Vulnerability Assessment for Central and Eastern Europe(SOVEUR project)and was implemented within the framework of the Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO)of the United Nations and the Netherlands Government Cooperative Programme.
The project was technically coordinated by ISRIC- World Soil ... Information and assisted by the Land and Water Development Division (AGL) of FAO. The SOVEUR project has been carried out in close collaboration with specialists from soil survey institutes in Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, the Russian Federation, Slovak Republic and the Ukraine, who collated the various national soil data using uniform guidelines. ![]()

ATTRIBUTE ACCURACY REPORT: The catchability of the used dredge is not known. The mesh size of the dredge was 5mm. The total catch was processed.
LOGICAL CONSISTENCY REPORT: The same procedures were used at all sites; findings should be consistent. COMPLETENESS REPORT: The total catch including all taxa was processed (5 replicates at each of the 3 sites). ... HORIZONTAL POSITIONAL ACCURACY REPORT: Sites were identified using GPS LINEAGE/PROCESS STEP: PROCESS DESCRIPTION: Updated from version 1 to version 2. LINEAGE/PROCESS STEP: PROCESS DESCRIPTION: 1. Updated Title from "Missing=TRUE" to "Fram Strait Benthos (IPOE) 1991" the title listed on the data table website is Distributionand structure of macrobenthic fauna in the Eastern Lapteve Sea in relation to environmental factors" 2. Added AOOS/IOOS keywords PROCESS DATE: 20090401 PROCESS DATE: 20090424 When not provided by authors, taxonomic information was completed using the ITIS Taxon list and is based on quantitative sampling using a dredge. It may not represent a complete list of taxa occurring in the region. ![]()
