Summary
Abstract: The Wildlands Fire Assessment System (WFAS) is generating National
maps of selected fire weather and fire danger components of the
National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS). NFDRS data is compiled
from daily observations from the Fire Weather Network which is
comprised of over 1500 stations throughout the conterminous U.S. and
