The first CD-ROM contains the Second Edition of data pertaining to the First Airborne Arctic Stratospheric Expedition (AASE-I) which was based in Stavanger, Norway during January and February, 1989. The First Edition of this dataset, produced in March 1990, was corrupted by many data errors introduced during production of the CD-ROM.
