Summary
Abstract: This experiment began in 1938 at a cool temperate site in
England. There are 3 soil series present on the experiment. Cottenham,
brown sand on Lower Greensand. Lowlands, colluvial brown earth in
sandy colluvium (SSEW). Flitwick, gleyic brown earth in sandy
colluvium. All classified as Cambic Arenosols (FAO) and under USDA
classification as Quartzipsammentic Haplumbrept, Cumulic Haplumbrept
