Summary
Abstract: TOA Radiation Flux and Cloud monthly product:

The radiation budget represents the balance between incoming energy from the Sun and outgoing thermal (longwave) and reflected (shortwave) energy from the Earth. It is converted the measurements into radiant exitances at the top of the atmosphere. The scanner monthly products include TOA upward longwave and shortwave radiation fluxes, as well as the cloud parameters of the FOV.

Purpose: TOA Radiation Flux and Cloud monthly product:

To calculate the radiation budget and study the role of clouds, aerosols, and radiation in climate by integrating measurements
