FY3A VIRR Global Ten-Day Average Outgoing Long-wave Radiation (OLR) Level 3 Product
Entry ID:
FY3A_VIRR_OLR_10day_L3
Summary
Abstract:
VIRR Global Ten-Day Average Outgoing Long-wave Radiation (OLR):
Outgion Longwave Radiation(English abbreviation:OLR) is the magnetic energy of all wavelengths that the Earth-atmosphere emits into the outspace. It’s value is highly related to the temperature of the emitting surface. It is one of the parameters of the Earth radiation budget. Purpose: VIRR Global Ten-Day Average Outgoing Long-wave Radiation (OLR): Because OLR is determined by the temperature of the emitting background, so it reflects the climate condition of the Earth surface. It is the necessary input parameter for climate model and numerical weather prediction model.
