Summary
Abstract:
The Climate Source is the exclusive distributor of spatial climate
data sets developed by the PRISM climate mapping program at Oregon State University's Spatial Climate Analysis Service (SCAS). Climate data for the lower 48 states are available: a full suite of 38 climate elements, including 1961-90 mean monthly and annual precipitation; temperature; humidity; freeze dates; growing, heating and cooling degree-days; precipitation and temperature extremes; and many snowfall statistics. Data are available in a variety of formats to be compatible ESRI's ARC-INFO and ArcView, MapInfo, Intergraph's GeoMedia, and public domain GRASS. See: http://www.climatesource.com/ for more details.
