These data vary in accuracy. The accuracy for the present use of this database
does not need to be any greater than what is required to represent the distribution of red sesbania in California and more specifically the watersheds in which it occurs. These data were collected primarily by professional and academic biologists/resource managers. The majority were recorded using global position systems. The database is not a complete survey report on all the occurrences of red sesbania in California, but rather a collection of reported observances.
