Summary
Abstract:
The Threatened Plants Database (TPDB) is the flagship database project
of the Botanical Society of the British Isles (BSBI). The full database is maintained within a desktop PC database (Recorder 3.3) but a sample of the database is made available here to demonstrate the type and range of data that is held. The sample consists of the full records for a small range of species, accounts of these species and a dynamic mapping facility to show the 10km sq distribution of these species in the UK. A feedback form is provided to allow reporting of any errors or to submit new records. Geographic Coverage

Quality
This is the flagship database of the Botanical Society of the British
Isles. The aim is to hold good, accurate, versatile data on each of 400 or so of the rare species of vascular plants in Britain. There is an interactive internet version of the TPDB available here, with a small sample of species present as a demonstration. Within this web site we aim to report on some of the ongoing research of the TPDB project.
