Abstract:
The Road Transportation Network datasets (from Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Zaire) are a combination of major roads and rivers that were generated for the Elephant Database. The Database was a result of cooperation between European Communities (EEC), Elsa Wild Animal Appeal (EWAA) and UNEP/GRID. Source map used was from the National Geographic Institute, Paris (of unknown scale), was projected into Miller Oblated Stereographic at 1:1000000.
