Summary
Abstract:
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's Fire and Resource
Assessment Program (FRAP) assesses the amount and extent of California's forests and rangelands, analyzes their conditions and identifies alternative management and policy guidelines. They make every effort to provide its data to the public free of charge in a format that is useable by the largest number of potential users. Downloads available include: 1:100K, 1:250K, 7.5'Quads, bioregions, ranger units, change detection programs, fire management environments, vegetation, rainfall, demographics. GIS data is provided in ARC/INFO export format (.e00 files) in the Teale Albers projection.
