This research will monitor the effect of climate change on bryophyte communities in the Windmill Islands region of Antarctica through repeated surveys of permanent vegetation transects. This will help us to predict future changes in bryophyte communities with changing climate, and to anticipate how biodiversity will be affected by global climate change.
