The Central Mojave Plots Map is composed of point locations representing vegetation alliance types. In addition, existing data sources (retrospective data) were evaluated and when they meet project criteria, were assigned an alliance type and were included in the digital map database. Releves that were classified to a vegetation type that was not mapped because it generally occurs at less than the 5 hectare minimum mapping unit are shown in the Central Mojave Special Features Map.
