Abstract: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was organized in 1988 by
the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment
Program (UNEP). Four series of reports were published: one in 1990 called the
'Climate Change: The IPCC Scientific Assessment', one in 1992 called 'Climate
