Structure of phytoplankton communities in Bering Sea, 2006
Entry ID:
KPDC_SOPCIBS_2006
Summary
Abstract:
In order to investigate the structure of phytoplankton communities and chlorophyll a, this study was carried out at 9 stations from June 21 to June 26, 2006 in the Bering Sea. Concentrations of total microphytoplankton and nano-picophytoplankton chlorophyll a were similar in the eastern shelf. But in the Aleutian Basin, concentrations of total microphytoplankton were higher than ...

The Clean Air Act provides the principal framework for national, state, and
local efforts to protect air quality. Under the Clean Air Act, OAQPS is responsible for setting standards, also known as national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS), for pollutants which are considered harmful to people and the environment. OAQPS is also responsible for ensuring that these air quality standards are met, or attained (in cooperation with state, Tribal, and local governments) through national standards and strategies to control pollutant emissions from automobiles, factories, and other sources.
