Summary
Abstract:
A large number of documents created by Z. Soucek were scanned by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre and saved in pdf format. The documents comprise typed reports and papers, as well as a large quantity of collected data. These data are primarily microbiological data collected from humans and animals.
The animals from which data were collected include: Rockhopper penguins Gentoo Penguins King Penguins Adélie Penguins Weddell Seals Skuas Data were collected from locations such as Wilkes Station, Mawson Station, Davis Station, Macquarie Island and the Ross Sea. One document pertains to a joint United States and New Zealand expedetion on the &Glaciers&.

Dates provided in temporal coverage are approximate only. Much of the data fall within the 1962-1965 period.
The original documents comprise handwritten and typed sheets of paper. The quality of these documents were quite variable, hence some of the scans may be difficult to read. The original documents have been stored and archived by polar medicine as they regard them to be of high value. The documents have been stored in a fire-proof safe in the polar medicine section.
