Stochastic forcing of Pleistocene Ice Sheets
Entry ID:
ebism
Summary
Abstract:
The result of weak random forcing changes (modeled by 0.5 Watt per square meter
changes in insolation) on the modeled North American and Eurasian ice sheets from 122,000 BP until the present is investigated. The model is that of Tarasov and Peltier ("Terminating the 100 kyr ice-age cycle", JGR, 102, 21665, 1997) with all parameters and input values barring the above ... ![]()
