Abstract:
Data includes physical snow properties (temperature, grain size, stratigraphy and density) from six snow pits around Vestfonna ice cap, Nordaustlandet, Svalbard and optical measurements in snow from 01.08.2007-01.05.2008. Dataset also contains weather station and snow pit measurements from Longyearbreen, Svalbard.
