Summary
Abstract:
The extent, onset date, end date, and duration of snow melt in Antarctica from
1978 to 2004 are derived by using satellite passive microwave SMMR and SSM/I data. The data set is given as JPG image files. The original results are in Polar Stereographic projection with reference to WGS84 ellipsoid.
