This book is a part of the foreign meteorological data collection held
by the NOAA Central Library in Washington, DC. Information in this
collection dates back to the 18th century for daily, monthly, seasonal,
and annual tabular summaries, and the 19th century for weather maps.
These data are the result of foreign exchange agreements, but the
collection has not been updated since 1983.

In these summaries, definitions are:

1. Hourly/daily/monthly/seasonal/annual data -- values determined for
each consecutive period, e.g. monthly temperature data: January
1900, February 1900, etc.

2. Long-term data -- values determined over a period of years, e.g.
long-term monthly temperature data using January 1901, January
1902, etc.

These books contain tables of daily, monthly, and annual surface
weather, geology, commerce, and agriculture for China from 1911
to 1919

Tables contain the following data:

-hourly temperature and precipitation
-daily mean air pressure, temperature, humidity, and vapor pressure
-daily mean maximum and minimum air pressure, temperature, and
the range
-daily mean soil temperature at 0cm, 60cm, 80cm, and 120cm
depths, wind speed, and water temperature
-daily prevailing wind and cloud type, cloud amount, evaporation
and precipitation amount
-daily moon, sun, tornado, rainbow, smog, frost, snow, ice, hail,
fog, rain, lightning, and earthquake(given hours)
observations
-daily traffic over the water
-daily mean air and water temperature and weather
-monthly mean temperature
-monthly mean maximum, minimum temperature and the range
-monthly maximum precipitation within 8 hours and 24
hours(given dates)
-monthly number of days with mean temperature<0C, =25C,
minimum temperature<0C, =25C, maximum
temperature< 0C, <=25C
-monthly number of days with frost, hurricane, cloudy skies, clear
skies, fog, lightning, hail, snow, sleet, and gale
-monthly report of copper production
-monthly financial report
-monthly mean price of cotton cloth and cotton yarn
-monthly maximum and minimum price of cotton cloth and cotton
yarn
-annual coal type, production, and composition
-annual peanut and sugar product, statistics of population,
commerce shop, and imports and exports and their tax rate
report
-annual statistic of world agriculture market and the population
-annual production and price of Antimony and its composition
-composition, texture, and produce place of indigotin
-chemical composition of different type of tea, composition of soil
in tea plantation
-type, life circle, height, and number of trees for Mountain Lu.
