Summary
|
Abstract:
Summaries of recorded snow accumulation on the Amery Ice Shelf and surrounding areas from the "GA series of snow accumulation stakes". Most stakes have two re-measurements to determine accumulation, although a few stakes have one or three re-measurements. In addition to the measurements, there are some notes on stratigraphy from several of the stake sites, and summary notes from similar work done in the area in the 60s and 70s. The physical notes are archived at the Australian Antarctic Division. |
