Abstract:
In 1971, a nine-man French expedition, accompanied by five Australians, occupied the old ANARE base at Atlas Cove between January 25 and March 10. A compilation of the data recorded was made, including the meteorological observations (along with details of how those observations were made), strain grid measurements on Vahsel Glacier (distances and angles for the laid out grid), gravity measurements, leveling and vertical velocity measurements from Vahsel Glacier, and ablation measurements from Vahsel Glacier.
