Summary

Abstract: The integrated method to estimate the carbon budget of forests is a research
project of scientists at the European Forest Institute (EFI) and the Finnish
Forest Research Institute (Metla). This project, scheduled from 2001 to 2004,
is a part of the Research Programme on Sustainable Use of Natural Resources
(SUNARE) coordinated by the Academy of Finland.
