Summary
Abstract: Structural analysis 1961-1990. Climate data in DISMED will be based on the
aridity index, which requires a harmonized way of computing evapotransipration,
that at present differs among countries. In this respect FMA will be in charge
of defining the most suitable algorithm(s) concerning evapotranspiration and
the correct time frame, which depends on the available data and ... View entire text

Description: Climate Sensitivity Index for the Mediterranean Basin. The Climate Sensitivity
Index is a part of the Sensitivity Desertification Index (SDI) along with Soil
Sensitivity Index and Vegetation Sensitivity Index.

Description: Sensitivity to desertification and drought in the Mediterranean Basin. The
Sensitivity Desertification Index (SDI) is derived from three datasets (also
maps): Vegetation Sensitivity Index, Soil Sensitivity Index and Climate
Sensitivity Index.
