Summary

Abstract: Storm Data is the name of a digital data set and a publication available from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). The digital data set is DSI-3910. Storm Data covers the United States of America. Publication data began in 1959, but preliminary data is available back to 1950. The data set begins in 1996. They both contain a chronological listing, by state, of hurricanes, tornadoes, ...

Purpose: To make a wide range of climatic data available to researchers and the public.
