Abstract:
1999 Atlantic Tropical Storms: Views from the NOAA Satellite is a technical report produced by and available from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). The report provides a detailed review of the 1999 Atlantic hurricane season, with damage statistics, rainfall tables, and numerous satellite images. Hurricane Floyd, the most damaging storm of the year, is included, along with each of the named storms.
Purpose: To make a wide range of climatic data available to researchers and the public. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: technical report CURRENTNESS REFERENCE: Ground Condition Fees, if applicable, are displayed on the web page for obtaining these data; fees are also dependent on customer order specifications.
